NeetSeat.in is a free NEET UG MBBS seat-predictor. This page explains, in plain language, what information we handle and your choices.
What we collect
- Predictor inputs (rank, category, quota) are used in your browser to show results. We do not store them on our servers.
- Account details (email and password) if you create an account to save My List. Handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
- Counselling Pro waitlist (Karnataka page): your name, your city or district, the email and/or WhatsApp number you enter, an optional comment about what you want from Counselling Pro, the page you signed up from, and the exact consent wording you agreed to, with its date.
- Anonymous usage counts on our own database: which page was opened, whether a prediction was run or a list saved, and the same rank band. No name, email, phone, IP address or cookie is attached.
- Analytics (Google Analytics), only if you accept cookies. We record which pages are used and a few actions (for example running a prediction, saving to My List, sharing or exporting). We send a rank band, never your exact rank, and never your name, email or phone to analytics.
Why we use it
- To contact you about the Counselling Pro launch (currently planned for Karnataka only) if you joined the waitlist.
- To keep My List working across devices.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
Who sees it
We do not sell your data. We do not share your email or phone number with third parties for their marketing, and will ask for your separate consent before ever doing so. Service providers that process data for us include Supabase (database and sign-in), Brevo (account emails), Netlify (hosting) and Google (analytics, only if you accept).
Minors
Many NEET aspirants are under 18. If you are under 18, please join the waitlist only with a parent or guardian’s permission. The sign-up form asks you to confirm this.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details are kept until you ask us to delete them, or until the counselling season they relate to has ended, whichever is earlier.
Your choices
- Withdraw consent, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing neetseat25@gmail.com from the address you signed up with (or, for a number, tell us the number).
- Decline analytics cookies using the banner; the site works the same.
Disclaimer
