The allotment lists don't show which seat (OC or community) each student took, so OC cutoffs are reconstructed from the seat matrix (the N-th best allotted rank where N = OC seats).

After NEET results, Tamil Nadu seats are filled through two parallel counselling streams — central (MCC) and state (the Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee, under the Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Kilpauk). Knowing which seats fall under which authority decides where and how you apply.
Conducts counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) — 15% of seats in every TN government medical college, ESIC K.K. Nagar and government dental colleges, open to students from any state. Also handles deemed universities (e.g. SRM, Saveetha, Chettinad, Sri Ramachandra).

Tamil Nadu reserves 69% of Government Quota MBBS seats by community, under its own reservation law. Your seat options depend on your community certificate (issued by TN revenue authorities), your Tamil Nadu nativity, whether you studied in a TN Government school (7.5%), and whether you qualify for a special category or a minority / NRI seat. Below is the complete reference, taken from the 2026 prospectus.
31% of Government Quota seats, filled strictly on merit. Open to every community — a BC, MBC or SC student with a high enough rank takes an OC seat first, so their own community seat goes to the next candidate. Candidates without a TN community certificate are considered OC.
The largest community pool in the allotment lists. BC candidates are eligible for BC seats and for OC seats on merit. Requires a BC community certificate from Tamil Nadu revenue authorities.
3.5% reserved for Muslims within the 30% BC share. BCM candidates also compete for OC seats. If BCM seats stay unfilled after the merit list is exhausted, they go to BC candidates — without exceeding the BC quota as a whole.
20% of Government Quota seats. Shown as “MBC&DNC” in the official lists. MBC/DNC candidates also compete for OC seats.
18% of Government Quota seats, including the Arunthathiyar share. Any SC seats left unfilled for want of Arunthathiyar candidates go to other SC candidates, and vice versa. SC candidates also compete for OC seats. Govt college fee for SC/SCA/ST is ₹12,073.
16% of the SC share is allotted to the Arunthathiyar community on a preferential basis (TN Act 4 of 2009). Once those seats are filled, further Arunthathiyar candidates compete with other SC candidates on inter-se merit — so SCA students are eligible for SCA, SC and OC seats.
1% of Government Quota seats — often just one seat per college, so cutoffs swing a lot. ST seats left unfilled go to SC candidates on merit. ST candidates also compete for OC seats.
7.5% of Government seats — in government colleges and the Government Quota of self-financing / private-university colleges — for students who studied Class 6 to 12 in TN government schools (including corporation, municipal, Adi Dravidar & Tribal Welfare, Kallar Reclamation and forest schools). It has its own 7.5% rank list and follows the same communal reservation inside it. These students still compete for regular seats too. Unused 7.5% seats go back to other candidates.
Candidates admitted under 7.5% who discontinue after the Round 2 deadline must pay the discontinuation fee plus what the government spent on their education (tuition, hostel, mess, university fees), according to the prospectus.
5% of seats in government medical and dental institutions, filled from a separate special-category rank list. Candidates must be certified by the Regional Medical Board (RGGGH, Chennai) or a designated centre (Madurai, Coimbatore, Thanjavur medical colleges), and the NMC 2026 interim guidelines need a UDID card. In 2026, 108 MBBS PwD seats were held after Round 2 (NEET marks 536–178). Unfilled PwD seats move to the general pool.
10 MBBS + 1 BDS seats in government colleges (clause 14.2). Allotted ahead of general counselling from a special list. In 2026 all 10 MBBS seats were filled by candidates with TN ranks between 5,344 and 35,354.
13 MBBS + 2 BDS seats in government colleges. Candidates are called in person for certificate verification in Kilpauk, and ranked by sports marks (ties broken by NEET rank). 13 MBBS sports seats were held after Round 2 in 2026.
30 of the 100 seats at Government Erode Medical College, Perundurai are kept for wards of State Transport Corporation / Institute of Road Transport employees who contribute to the corpus fund. An IRT ward certificate (Annexure VIII) must be uploaded with the application. Cutoffs are listed under “IRT” in that college's table.
Half of CMC's seats are filled by the Selection Committee on CMC's own criteria (CMC General, CMC Staff and Minority Network categories in the Management list). The 50% CMC Quota is shown for information only. The separate 20% TN Christian Minority seats (fee ₹56,330) are included in predictions when you pick “Christian” in the minority option.
Up to 35% of seats in self-financing and private-university colleges, filled by the Selection Committee from the Management Quota merit list. Fee ₹15 lakh a year (₹16.2 lakh in state private universities). This predictor includes Management seats for every candidate.
Minority colleges keep part of their management side for their community — e.g. Telugu Minority at Trichy SRM (87), Arunai (70) and Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan (62); Malayalam Minority at Sree Mookambika (52); Christian Minority at Panimalar (30) and Madha (20). TN nativity is required, plus a study or minority certificate. Pick your minority in the predictor.
15% of SF college seats, for NRI candidates or wards sponsored by an NRI relative (embassy-issued NRI status and relationship proof needed). Fee ₹27 lakh a year (₹30 lakh in private universities). Unfilled NRI seats are converted to Management seats.
